Depends on which one I'm on I have : Acer aspire that runs windows 95 (given to me used for old games) compaq presario that runs windows 98 (given to me, my son used mostly for older pc games) hp pavilion that runs windows ME (my Father's he died so I got it has MS office in stalled) Hp pavilion that runs Xp (my first computer but my son used it mostly.) Everex impact that runs windows Xp ( second computer I bought mine mine mine) Acer that runs Windows vista ( my son's new computer from christmas cause the HP got trojans )

The best $400 can buy .... or not . eMachine w/Windows VISTA Home Basic . I also have an old eMachine running Windows 2000 . A DELL w/Windows XP in my closet w/a screwy power supply and 3 custom built machines running Windows98 that have various issues .

Just put together a new one custom built with an Asus MB, AMD 64x2 Dual Core 5200+, 4 GB of RAM DDR2 800 and a Western Digital 160 GB HD. The only way to go.....cost just over 560 and that included XP Pro.

Recently purchased a Macbook Pro to upgrade and for mobility. I already have a HP Pavilion a1034n that I bought in 2005, and also a Fujitsu Lifebook series C from 2002. I recently add an external hard drive so I can store more and keep my computers run in top shape without using up all of the memory.
