I am a professional writer/editor who is in search of an intelligent, articulate, kind and creative man with a good sense of humor. Honesty is imperative, as I was betrayed in my 32-year marriage and am trying to rebuild trust in men. I worked for many years at the Lockport Union-Sun & Journal, a small city daily newspaper, as a senior editor/features writer. I left the paper in 2005, but since then have been a regular column contributor to The Buffalo News. A new "gig" for me has been proofreading pharmaceutical inserts for a local printing company. I have also had some pieces published in trade journals and niche magazines, although magazine writing is not really my genre. I was disabled in 2003, but continue to be productive in my writing, and recently trained to become a medical language specialist. My interests are writing - a given - reading, stimulating conversations with intelligent people, star gazing, sunrise watching, summer beer drinking on the deck and laughing at life and the human condition. I love trucks of all kinds and drive a 2008 black Trailblazer. I am pionate about life and love, and I find most people fascinating. Everyone has a story to tell ... Along that line, I am in the process of writing a book, and am trying to learn HTML to launch a literary website. Another of my pions is music, and I favor southern and clic rock, but am open to an eclectic variety. I also love theatre, especially Broadway musicals. As I feel that transparency is crucial to any good relationship, I must describe myself as what many euphemistically term a "big, beautiful woman." To that end, I'm seeking a man who does not judge a person on their physical size but rather on the real person inside.
