root canal, wisdom tooth, what?

I'm going to get a wisdom tooth cut out and was curious what is everyone elses' adventure to ol' bologne breath doc? lol

I have 2 wisdom teeth broken in half. I have to wait f ew months before getting them pulled.

It's not that bad..You'll be a little sore but wont disable you at all

Well cut out may not be as bad..pulled can be tough, especially if they are impacted. Expect your lip to be pulled back past your ear and the doc may have to pry your lip back past your ear. other than that its a piece of cake!

One of my incisors is have fake because of a sledding accident when i was kid, come to think of it, it's about due to break off again when i eat some cocoa puffs. lol

I had my wisdom teeth pulled out all at one time.....
I looked like a chipmuck!!

just put a bag of frozen corn or peas on your face... it takes the shape of your face and helps with the pain.

not bad just take the gas and morophine and valium and purks and vikes and you should be fine lol.no really not all that bad.

had my jaw broken by a bar stool and when I got into the hospital in order for them to fix things they had to call in a dentist.

Had all four wisdom teeth pulled and I have five fake teeth that are screwed into my jaw because they got broken off at the gum line.

Yeah OUCH had mouth wired shut for nine weeks

I just had my bottom two wisdom teeth taken out yesterday. They actually gave me and IV sedative and valium before the appointment. It went fine. No pain today and I put ice on my jaw last night so I have hardly any swelling today and no bruising at all. I am back to work tommorrow.
It was really not as bad as I thought it would be.

I had 9 teeth pulled at once due to my car wreck, I hit a cement wall doing 85 and broke my back teeth. Novicane and laughing gas does not work with me, I had more shots of novicane then an elephant could handle and it did not work and the laughing gas almost gave me a heart attack...

When I was little I used to grind my teeth in my sleep. I ground off the enamel on the tops of my baby teeth - which wasn't a huge concern.

The problem was when my permanent teeth tried growing in they were stuck because the roots of my baby teeth had cemented themselves into my jawbone.

So they put me under for a couple hours and pulled eight molars. Two on bottom and two on top - both sides.



That still wasn't as bad as the ONE little nerve dying in the ONE little tooth a couple years ago... I thought I was dying... emergency root canal time.

The 190 psi blow to my head twice that almost ripped my brain stem...I clentched my teeth so tight that I also dislocated my jaw

Perked up a lil when I heard that..Took me back to a time when I did take the gas and the valium and had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled.. wasnt so bad while she was cutting and yanking and grabbing and tugging.. AFTERWARD... holy hell OUCH...take the morphine or vicadin or darvacet they offer ater.. youll need it.. and life will be much more enjoyable!!!

Just wanted to add ..that root canals arent as bad as they once were..My 12 year old had to have one and she went back to school the next day and never took moe then a tylenol for pain...
