Do you think I should drop the bit about being married and now separated? Is that something I should tell later or leave out there now so people can decide? I keep looking at what I wrote and think maybe I just shouldn't say anything about that? Thoughts here?

Thanks!

NO, don't drop it. If you are legally separated and you are in the process of divorce it is worth laying out on the table from the beginning. But I think you should be fully divorced before you involve someone else. Just my advice and opinion.

Good Luck!

Nice pics hon. And your paragraph is nice too, BUT ...

I would definitely rephrase or remove this:

"I am a great person, I know that, I was just with the wrong man for too many years and he never appreciated me. I know someone out there will. Is that you?"

Smacks of low self-esteem and shaken identity. Kinda like reverse psychology if you know what I mean. ie, WHO are you trying to convince you are a great person? Let men figure that our for themselves by the rest of your description and them getting to know you flowerforyou flowerforyou

That's completely up to you, and the kind of person you're looking to meet. Some people like upfront brutal honest (emphasis on the brutal), some people are un-comfortable with it. Personally, I like the bold and blatant honest approach... but then, I'm a bit odd I suppose

I believe you did an awesome job of expressing yourself but I will also have to agree with Fade2Black.

Just my opinion, BUT if you just put seperated, to me, that indicates you WERE married, or common-law, and you can explain that to a possible future significant other later , BUT it all depends on YOUR attitude , of honesty I guess... just me BUT if I wanted to know, I would ASK ... flowerforyou

I agree, but you can take your time here and just enjoy making friends, and see what comes along. Your a very pretty lady.
and then when your truly single you will already have a heads up on what you want.

I think your profile is fine. I dont think "seperated" will throw a man off if he truely gets to know you.
I don't normally explain this to anyone unless asked but my profile says "marital status....No Answer" It's because I am seperated but it's not legally and I hope that one day we can work things out. But if I were to put anything else besides "no answer" would be misleading. I'm not legally seperated nor divorced, nor widowed and I certainly would call myself married. Your profile is fine and I also agree with Fade2Black's advice.

Hey BetterDazes!! I see you got a new picture, I like it!!
I think your profile is nice BUT I wouldn't start off with the seperated thing. The thing is you have it marked seperated at the bottom, I don't think I would mention it in your writing. BUT thats just my opinion.
Other then that..you are looking good!!! flowerforyou
