Topic: marines or army

I'm a National Guard soldier, going active duty and my fiance is an infantryman in the Army..His job is hell compaired to mine and his basic training was too, I'm Jag Corps, Paralegal future Lawyer..He is going back to Iraq in 10months for his second tour of duty..I don't know when and if I'm going to go...I know they are pushing him for special forces....He has not yet decided.... If he was single I would tell him to go for it, I know I had a lot of fun in the teams. And it is hell but worth it. But being that hes not single, then I would advise him not to go Ranger

i know alto of marines from my base talk **** about other branches which is really stupid and immature on their part , the marine corps could never win a war on its own

A Marine is a Marine, a Soldier is a Soldier, A Sailer is a Sailer and an Airman is an Airman. All Fighters and all different. The toughest best trained is the one on the ground next to me. Well put

i know alto of marines from my base talk **** about other branches which is really stupid and immature on their part , the marine corps could never win a war on its own When you get into the military you find out that the branches are like brothers and sisters, They Talk mad Sh*t about eachother untill some one screws with us the you have the whole lot to deal with. Its gone on for years and will continue to go on.

i will say this the U.S. army is the largest force we have,Abramas, bradleys, apaches,stealth bombers, strikers,THE PATRIOT MISSLE!!!! which if it wasnt for that we coud get our asses kicked, patriot missile is an anit missle which stops us from being hit, i dont know much aobut what the marines have just Harriers, and helis

marines are not the first to fight ill tell u that I have to disagree with that to a point. Usually the first in is eather Marine Recon or navy seals. EDIT: or Army Rangers, depending on the unit. Actualy, I believe if you check you will see first in more times than not are usually Army MP's. Motorized Intantry with a badge.

CID agents, which are part of the MP Corp are assigned to Special Forces Command. Also the new Brigade Combat teams have CID agents assigned.

Army is better trained with tactics, Marines are tougher, but in the end what dos it really matter where all on the same team Wait a danged old second here, I'm in the Army and I am tough as heck, I honestly don't think it matters both are very important to our military.

honestly it depends on the guy ok ok whos uniform looks better lol. oh marines wins by a ton
