Ok scenario.
I have two jobs, one i just do less than 5, for the other benefits i get (free membership) So there is a women that works there, she's in a senior position to me, but has no ability to directly hire, fire, or change my work schedule. What are pros and cons for asking if she would like to get coffee sometime? thanks |

Absolutely nothing. There is nothing wrong with getting to know your Co-workers. Go for it! If it turns in to something great, if not, play it cool and still be friends.

i don't think the other girl things would apply too much in this place. We're both 24ish, and most employees in our area are HS students.
Well it's lifeguarding, she's a head lifeguard, while i'm just a lifeguard, but mainly that means on shift, she is the go to person for patrons and running the pool. Behavior issues, demerits and what not among guards gets reported higher up. |

If she does evaluations or anything of that sort, if she is a supervisor, even though she can't fire you, I wouldn't recommend it. If she her position is a level up from you, but isn't in your branch on a position flow chart, then it isn't such a big deal.

Otherwise if you're interested in dating her, try looking to relocate or look for another job :) |
