WOW is that most forums are like????  I was getting angry about how everyone was on everyone for stupid little things. She was just trying to make a simple statement. I am a womAn, just as you men would prefer to be called a mAn wouldn't you, not a mEn.
Some of you went WAY overboard. I am a special ed teacher and will NEVER say I'm a perfect speller or grammar, but find lots of my own mistakes as I'm rereading (prob. cuz I write either really early in the a.m. or late in p.m.). Give each other a break. And don't be judgemental. I hate reading forums like this when it gets ugly and abusive, hypocritical... whatever!!!!! I didn't like the comment about the sz of the asian penis. No one caught that.... but that was down right rude!!!!! Many a caucasian have a small penis.
I'm not fickle about the use of man or men... I'm intelligent enough to know what the person meant or to ask what they meant! I never said I had perfect grammar or spelling. Saying that I would prefer something is an assumption. You don't know me at all, therefore do not assume what I would think or how I would react... I never said I disagreed at one point with her topic, I simply disagreed with how she projected herself by contradicting her grammatical usage as a whole (I.E. Spelling and Grammar) by using examples. Apologizes were said and accepted. As far as the Asian penis pun... The classy thing to do would be to not dignify it with a response, which is what I did. I can't stand any type of racial stereotyping. Thanks for your opinion, I can see her point of view, but can you see my angle of it? Provocative, don't you think? |

She made a statement over a word being misused.
I simply flipped that around and made it into a grammatical issue, to have her see what she was projecting from another's point of view. It was a simplistic method. I do respect her opinion, but two wrongs never make a right. If others are not intelligent enough to follow what I was trying to point out... it's not my problem. They should be more open minded. I just hate it when people rant about doing something, while they are doing something to the same effects. |

Absolutely.
I was just pointing out that she was being judgmental over one word. I was trying to do it in a playful way, but it was taken way to seriously. Notice the "Laugh Out Loud" anagrams I used... didn't help at all. They can look at me as an ass, but I still love em' all! |
