If you are friends with your best friend's girlfriend and she tells you while makin you promise to tell anyone that she cheated on your best friend (her boyfriend) would you tell him?? Cause i did and i feel i did the right thing, but now they both have stopped talkin to you and i was called every name in the book but the girlfriend. then come to fing out now they are both engaged and gettin married next year. what do you think?? did i dont the right thing?? would you have told him??

Yea that was a catch-22, but I think you did the right thing. If they are mad at you for tellin the truth, then they weren't good friends anyway.

Wow you were in a tough situation BUT I think you did the right thing. I think if they stopped talking to you then it really is their loss. The one thing you can believe is that you are a person with morals and a true friend.
I had the same thing happen to me, I told and eventually she started talking to me again. She is still with the same guy and we just act like it never happened. I know now that she doesn't want to hear IF he cheats SO I would never get involved again. I guess you just have to know when to tell the truth and know when to keep your nose out!
I myself would want to know if I was with someone and they cheated. If my friends knew and didn't tell me..I would be hurt! I guess you just have to go with your heart like you did and hopefully BOTH of your friends will come around!!

You don't want the girl in your social circle because she's untrustworthy on the deepest level.

Your friend the idiot is too blind or dumb to be friends with.

Harsh reality calls for harsh choices.

Id want to know, hard as it would be to hear it and probablly be mad at the person who told me but I'd get over that and be grateful to have someone watching my back.

I would have thrown him hints of something being up and let him discover it himself. It is always better if they find out themselves.

That's a really tuff situation ~ I've been there. You really can't win, I hope I'm never in that situation again though.

Although, I hope my friends would alert me if the situation were reversed ~ but I truly don't think I would be one to take it out on the messenger, if it was told to me with the right intentions.
