Jessie

This bard of old was asked today,
To sing a song from far away.
To sing a song, of things done,
To a family, was born a son.

Into life, a child was born,
Smiles brought, one spring morn.
Gave a breath, a gentle life,
Man, he smiled to his wife.

Of this child, she did bear,
Love abounds everywhere.
Doctors race throughout the night,
Help this boy with all their might.

Save his life they did say,
Another day, for him to play.
Some days past, they were told,
This boy sick, we must hold.

Prayers this day, gather men,
Prayers to god did begin.
See this small, gentle boy,
Needed more than just a toy.

Give us strength on this day,
Surgery is on the way.
Heal strong for all to see,
Strength of love and family.

Today was not like all the rest,
Doctor’s special all the best.
Performing miracles once again,
Jessie boy will soon have friends.

To laugh and play forever more,
To show the world, whats in store.
Jessie holds, the world a fire,
Soul he has, you must admire.

He fights for each passing day,
He shares a smile, his own way.
He does not know what to do,
He looks into the sky of blue.

One day soon you all will see,
Joy his life will mean to me.
I give to you a daily prayer,
Smile for him, we can wear.

So long ago we found a love,
Speaks of life, from high above.
Show you now, answers high,
Raise our voice, touch the sky.

Life you give this little boy,
In this life he brings us joy.
Lord we ask in praise of thee
To help this boy and family.

my heart feels for little Jessie.

What can this family say--your words meant so much to each one of us.
Jesse seemed to take in all of your words and smiled after we read it to
him, he, like yourself, is destined for greatness. He will reflect on
this when he is old enough to read for himself and will know someone he
had not even met , knew so little of him, but wrote such an awesome
piece!!!
He made excellent progress thru the nite, I think it was while EVERYONE
was sending well wishes and prayers, that he was the fiesty little guy
we brought here Monday, thanx to all kind thoughts he gets to go home
tomorrow--Hallelujah!!Again, thank you everyone, especially you Craig,
this is truly a treasure.
