I'm not saying I'm a saint! I used to work in the restaurant business. But why do all the people I meet just wanna stay high all the time?

But why do all the people I meet just wanna stay high all the time? they think drugs help them get away but they really dont how do i know this? well i have no personal experience but i have seen 3 friends die from overdose and thats enough proof for me to know that all drugs do is just ruin peoples lives |

me i have never had the intention at all getting into that stuff cuz honestly you can have tons more fun being sober than being high or drunk you just got to be creative

Here's where I start an argument
 I drink on occasion, don't do drugs (smoke weed).

I don't drink, last night I wanted to get drunk though, so I had one beer, and was smashed... light weight, huh? i used to be like that, especially if i drank on an empty stomach..didnt take much for me and the hard stuff..man!! 2 shots of whiskey or whatever and i was gone!!!

clean and sober for 13yrs.there is a diff with people who drink or drug once in a while and get in trouble and people who are addicts and can't stop without help.i was the latter and don't care to ever go back!!!!

Wasn't when I was younger, got into all kinds of trouble and scraps, I had my fair share of it, but I had to get my **** together, for my daughter, so I quit, but not missin more, as I see peeps out on the streets so drunk they don't know their ass from a hole in the ground, not me, not anymore, been sober now for 24yr's, and lovin it...smoke a lttle pot here and there though...but that's it.

I don't do, either. I exercise for my high. Left my party days behind, some time ago. Would not consider myself a saint, either, but when I did party (long ago) it was always in excess.

Why is it that everyone I meet is either caught up in drinking the night away at the local hotspot or smoking themselves stupid on their exotic paraphernalia?????? I'm not saying I've never done any of that because that would be a lie. WTF?

I get high on life! I DO TO, but I also like to go out once a month or month and a half and drink some beer and dance or shoot some pool... To MUCH of ANYTHING is just TO MUCH! So I love to laugh and dance, and drinking DOES NOT CHANGE ME, so im COOL with THAT and ME... But im also REAL with it!!
