Don't do anything too drastic, take it slow and easy to give your body time to get used to the different positions. Don't eat or drink anything before doing it either.

i have done yoda before, but its been a few years and i cant remember anything, but i am still really flexible wow that little green guy?? :-) Yoga is great, honestly I prefer Pilates (more of a good core and stretch work out). As mentioned before ease into it and don't over do, if you stick to it you will find positions get easier and easier. |

One of the important things to consider with yoga is to focus on your breathing. Take deep breaths as you stretch and release them slowly. This will also aid in the relaxing bit (also stress in one's life).

That may impact some of the moves slightly but if you try to relax into the moves you should be OK. Have fun!

I took a yoga class a few semesters ago.
I learned not to be at the front, because all our TAs were female and I always wore very thin pants to yoga. But it was worth it. |

Take it slow and easy. Follow the breathing instructions and breath into deeper stretches. Yoga is great.
