Hope you are good and limber, I do it and Ti Chi....if you have the least back problem it will tell you about it!!! It's fun and relaxing though!!!happy happy

Don't do anything too drastic, take it slow and easy to give your body time to get used to the different positions. Don't eat or drink anything before doing it either.

Like Symbol said take it slow and easy....it's a good relaxer...it depends what is wrong with your stomach..do a search on your computer and it will give you a better view!!! Good Luck!!!:heart:

i suffer with pain daily, because i have endometriosis, i have pain meds called pethidine/demerol. is it ok to do yoga on pain killers?? flowerforyou

Yoga is great, honestly I prefer Pilates (more of a good core and stretch work out).

As mentioned before ease into it and don't over do, if you stick to it you will find positions get easier and easier.

One of the important things to consider with yoga is to focus on your breathing. Take deep breaths as you stretch and release them slowly. This will also aid in the relaxing bit (also stress in one's life).

my balance is ok usually, but at the moment its terrible because ive got fluid behind my ears

That may impact some of the moves slightly but if you try to relax into the moves you should be OK. Have fun!

I took a yoga class a few semesters ago.

I learned not to be at the front, because all our TAs were female and I always wore very thin pants to yoga.

But it was worth it. glasses

Take it slow and easy. Follow the breathing instructions and breath into deeper stretches. Yoga is great.
