Topic: Why do men pretend to be what they aren't? | |
---|---|
Okay normally I don't post about my personal life (because I don't really have one). But I've been talking to this guy I met online, not here, he found me on myspace around Christmas time.
Hes been talking a good game, we talk pretty much every night. Ive invited him out a few times but he lives about 40 miles from me. He also keeps talking about taking me out, but has yet to make good on that. In an attempt to be trusting, Ive just let it go, continue to chat and never take anything too seriously. Today I get this complimentary comment on my page, so I went to comment him back...but got a little lost in checking out the females profiles on his page. Evidently hes this complimentary to all of his single female friends. So do I call him out on it? This is likely what Ill do because I can't keep my mouth shut to save my life. Or do I just let it go and see if he ever actually makes good on the plans he keeps making with me? And why ON EARTH cant men actually fall for a girl and be as sweet as they are when they are screwing around with them or on them? |

ask him if he feels the same way about all those women. Then you have to decided to keep him or not

Umm..you haven't even met yet, correct? So why should you expect that you would be the only girl in the world he talks to? It's not like you are engaged. If he hasn't promised to stop talking to other people I wouldn't make a fuss about it. I talk to all kinds of guys on here. I am not going to date any of them. I just like talking to people, male and female.

sound like the guys just keeping his options open and a date is nbot a commitment.until hes or you say hey we,re a couple hes free to do ashe please and if ceratin people don,t like it ,they can either getover it or move on.more likely when and if you confront him hes more likely to tell you same thing i,m saying, either that or cut you off most men do not dig klingons jmo

I make complimentary comments to many of the guys on Myspace. That doesn't mean that I'm necessarily interested in them, but they all have good qualities. And..just because I may be talking to one guy a little more often than the others, that doesn't mean I'm ready to abandon all other options. Kinda like putting all your eggs in one basket...don't ya think? You haven't yet met in person...questioning his friendships is a sure way to make sure it never happens.

There are a lot of good people online and unfortunately just as many if not more jerky ones (men and women)... If you feel he's crossed the line by what's he's done then call him out on it.. However, if there were not promises made on his part and he didn't lead you on, then I would just delete him and cut him out of your life... Some people enjoy playing but never go through.. Are you sure he's not married? There are usually signs of things.. That's why I don't let myself get caught up in feelings, etc online which I know is hard to do... Good luck!!!

Hiker...Greg...get out of my head! There's not enough space in there for both of you!

this is common on cell phones-texting. he talks to a bunch of women, and invites them out. if 3 respond and want to go out, its his choice on who he goes with. its sleazy, but women fall for it...
i may be wrong tho. id confront him about it. try messaging one of the other women. |

That's a bit stalker-ish to me. |

Right to the point i have friend's a lot of them And i care for some of them but not in that way They are my friends And let me say most men are lazy On myspace so they give the same comment out to all There friends this is most likely what he did So just ask him if he is lazy |
