I was asked if I take request so I guess I asked for this. When I said I would try the subject I was given was to write something about a guy in a wheelchair in a grocery store
This was about 20 min ago so I know this is rough... I tried Stef.................... i come around the corner we come face to face you turn away – everyone does this chair you see is just a vehicle it’s not who i am why won’t you look me in the eye when you turn away i still exist i went so you could be free to be you i pray you never see the things i lived you would have been proud to stand next to me i fought bravely and now you can’t look me in the eye? what are you afraid you’ll see i may have left parts of myself there in that desert of blood but i am whole – inside no matter how many times you turn away you will never take that from me look at me – look me in the eye don’t hide from your shame i ask nothing of you except to be treated as the man i am so look me in the eye next time i am a man i am your brother i am your son i don’t need your pity or your front row parking kc08 |

hmmm, this was 20 minutes huh? Wonder would it get better if you took longer. You hit some really good nerves on this one kc. My advice to the guy would be keep the front row parking, it's one of the rare thank-you's you truly received from this Country.
