My lesbian friend was just asking me last night if I could give her a list of AA places where her mother's boyfriend could get some help. She doesn't want anything to do with him because she is afraid of him but for sake of her mother who she tries to stay away from she would like to see him to get help. My lesbian's friend old lady is very protective of her and she doesn't want her old lady to kick his ass. Like me she likes peace and harmony. She is always a joy to be with and gives me the sweetest hugs. My gay friend has come a long way in his recovery and I will meet him in a NA meeting tonight. He has been a real support to the group and it has been a joy to see him get six months in the program. His husband is in AA and thinks he is crazy but is very supportive in his coming to our meetings. I am getting a real motley crew of a friend's network but they are all important to me.
