so whats yalls opinion of the military? im not talking about the war or anything. im talking about the troops. do you support them? if not then why?

I support them 100%...guess maybe because I'm retired from the country club of the military(AF/ANG). One thing I do believe different from a lot of people is that you can support the military, and still be against a war we are involved in.

I fully and completely support them. My ex, and a ton of our friends are in Iraq right now. I'm hoping and praying that each of them come back. :]

I support them. More people need to do the same. They are the ones that are willing to put their lives in danger for someone else. I characterize that as being very unselfish....

I agree with you, I support the troops and what they are doing, but I don't think they should be there. I have so many friends that are there or have been there fighting its hard not to support them, but doesn't mean I have to like it!

To bad the government does not. 1 congressman out of 535 has a son or daughter in the military.

thank you all. and to all of you who were, are or have raised a member of the military, then thank you. your the best. finally some people that support us and understand that supporting the troops and disliking the war can both be done.

Was an infantryman for 3+ years, recently got out. I support the troops and the war in afghanistan. Not the one in iraq, though

To bad the government does not. 1 congressman out of 535 has a son or daughter in the military. i agree. i think that one of these days the military should tell the politics to fight their own war for once. but God knows thats not going to happen, so we have to do it for them.

Half and half, yes I support them in the fact they are doing their job...don't support them in the opinion that they are sheep in the herd.
