Topic: A Bards Song | |
---|---|
Long ago and far away, Searching smiles my own way. Seeking one, gentle, kind, Only one, I will find. Smile, ghostly, in the light, Peering, mostly, in the night. Vaguely seeing, in the mist, Two lips softly, I did kiss. Touching cheeks, tender care, Holding hands, hearts to share. Smile gently in the night, Dream of hope, seeing light. Softly as, the morning dew, Whispered, gently, kind and true. Walking slowly, in the light, Talking slowly, feels right Hold my hand, hold my soul. Given true there is no toll. One day till, you call me friend, Dreaming souls we meet again. Dream together, forgotten walls, Hear my echo in the halls. Echo’s answered by a friend, Sharing smiles to the end. Feel the soul I have to give, Feel my words, they do live. Feel my heart, deep inside, Feel it now, does not hide. Could you kiss the bard you see, Could you touch his cheek gently. Could you hold his hand so tight, Could you hold his soul from fright. Will you walk into the light, Will you dream with me tonight. Will you stop and look at me, Will you hold my words gently. Now this bard has played his hand, Waiting now throughout the land. Hope to dream with you today, Dream of love, our own way. Now I ask, can you feel, Friendship born, is it real. Answer softly, your own way, Whisper gently, should I stay. Craig December 4, 2006 |
