i find I get really bored of people talking about themselves all the time.......what do you talk about on the date? do you ask her questions?

Getting back to the OP, seriously....maybe you are not showing enough interest after the date - or perhaps you are showing too much. If they don't call back right away, do you keep pursuing? If no, why not? Go for what you want and feel competant that you can get it. Women like that.
