Well that's in the past now and that's not the reason I'm single. I didn't talk to many people during high school and the only people I talk to in person now are my parents. So until I go back to college, online is about the only way I can meet people.

I'm not quite sure why I'm single yet again - I don't lie or cheat - I enjoy sex, and life - I try to take care of my man - and they keep either doing something I just can't/won't tolerate (like hurting my kids), or they cheat - which I also won't tolerate.
While trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong - I'm sitting here on a dating site - wondering with every contact (and in just a few days there has been A LOT of contact), if he is going to reel me in to just spit me out again.....getting really discouraged - not with the site - with life in general - figuring growing old alone maybe isn't so bad.

Because I want it all with no half measures....I want to be THE ONE.....not one of many. And until I find that I will be single.

I'm Single because: I link my self confidence to my appearance (which is currently 50lbs overwieght, and I have pretty substanial scars from an accident when I was 17).

Also I lack the ability to have small talk with anyone I am interested in, it comes out kinda like ( urr ahh so ah yeha! ) That and a complete inablility to judge correct a womens interest in me.

I'm single because I'm new to my area and haven't met a lot of people, and am also extremely picky. I have a lot of deal-breakers because I have a good idea what I want, and I'm not willing to settle. It may mean I'm single longer, but once I find someone I like, that relationship will really be worth my time and energy.

I used to think like that, until I found the person... and got kicked in the emotional teeth... now I'm just looking for some one with a heart that can love, a person with some direction and an open mind. Still a bit picky, but not nearly like before

Because in the last 4 years I've only met men who either

Want to get married in like 2 months time

Want to lie and be jackasses then get pissed when I call them out on it.

They either drink in excess and are retarded, or think drinking is a horrible nasty evil thing.

Think that the way to my heart is a direct line through my panties.

Assume that because 2 of my 3 best friends are guys I must be sleeping with them.

Think that by pushing me to make decisions quickly and with ultimatums I will do what they want.
