Mormon... and no its not a cult... we have families, jobs, we go to movies, we laugh (at ourselves more than any other religion can claim to), we fish, we get college degrees, we vote, we celebrate the holidays, you know... all the stuff normal people do... if there is such a thing as normal

I am a student of the universe ,, learning, aquiring, searching, seeking knowledge,, knowing that thier is a higher force ,,,,, that all in this life is better in the ever after,,, 
That sounds like a nice philosophy. Very peaceful. Really not my sort of thing. But to each his/her own. I welcome your beliefs and I thank you for posting them. |

I don't really believe in organized religion, but if I had to choose it would be a combination of Buddhism, Native American Beliefs, and perhaps a bit of Wiccan.

I think it is stupid for anyone to hate someone based on their religion. My ex was not a Mormon but he claimed he was...the only doctrine he followed was polygamy...and he only did that not for religious reasons, but to get extra something else. I can't believe I stayed with him as long as I did. Nothing against your beliefs tho. I don't have a problem with other peoples beliefs. sounds like a Fundamentalist Mormon............they believe in polygamy.......the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints teaches against it he wasnt mormon at all he just told me that cuz he thinks im stupid excuse my language, but he sounds like an asshole (i wasn't raised in the church, can ya tell?) asshole is putting it nicely, i could think of a few other words to describe him but they would get censored

I guess I'm sort of a Christian Buddhist.
As for what Nate said, I have to agree. I've run into many Mormons and they are one of the few Christian sects that even TRY to live up to their beliefs. |
