Topic: America's Karaoke Contest?

My opinion is that American Idol is nothing more than an overblown and overhyped search for America's next best karaoke singer. Does anyone believe that truly original and creative artists have and will come from AI? Note to all: The keywords here are CREATIVE and ORIGINAL.

Not a chance. But I wouldn't accuse the music industry today of being creative or original.

" Carrie Underwood is a complete moron. " Have to disagree with you there. There have been alot of artists who have benefited from AI.Thiis is American Idols sixth season must be others who like it also. Guess if a person does not like it they have a remote to change it.
