get ice and put it in 1 of her socks.. break up the ice inside.. close it with a hair tie or rubber band...
let her suck and chew on it... my neice loves it.. she is teething right now as well.. tylenol and motrin rotate ever 4-6 hours and you are good to go!! |

the wisky is an old remedy that douse work but you would be better off taking little one over to grandparents house and let them do it cold rag plus baby orajel,or a half of buffrin asprin

little hit of rum! I'll second this. We (when there was a we) used those frozen ring things. There is one model that can survive teeth. 2 out 3 loved it. Number three used her thumb. |

I never had an issue with my son teething but for car rides I'd give tylenol just incase. He just chewed on any and everything in site. You can use baby orajel but use it sparingly because it'll toughen the gums and actually make it harder for the teeth to come though. Also you could get Highland teething tablets. You can dilute it in water and let her drink it or just rub it on her gums. Also you could invest in teething rings. You could get the kind that goes in the freezer and one for the fridge. My son loves cold stuff so we just gave him ice in a baggy and let him suck on that and it did the trick. Also like the others mentioned, a cold wet rag.

My sister use to use this thing that you stick in the freezer. Her son loved sucking on it. I think the coldness would ease some of the pain.

My baby sitter is a retired nurse and she recommended rubbing the gums often. It shouldnt cause them any more pain but it kind of massages the gums and relieves the pain. Plus it helps when the teeth start to break through the skin and makes it less painful.

This worked for my children. Each of my 3 responded a little differently. Only 2 needed the Tylenol. Baby orajel is great! |
