Shock rappers make the headlines but there is alot of talent in this genre. Prejudice shows it's ugly face in a lot of ways and this is one form.

If I do not like a form of music, I don't listen to it. I do not downgrade any person for their form of music and neither should anyone.

Rap is just another form of music, it comes and goes just like they all will. I remember the shock of the music I listened to as a kid. People hated it. It was rock so it doesn't matter there will always be people who don't care for it or think it is a bad influence, etc..... It is just music, a form of expression that is all.

Because a white person listens to rap they are deemed "wigga"......Hmm,tell me what label would you hang on me,a black person who is heavily into "The Who,Queen, Nirvana,Stones,Beatles,etc,etc................I love music of all genre's,if someone takes the time to write lyrics, put music to it, the least the general populous could do is listen before condemning.

Some rappers really have a message worth the listening. Relating to life the way they see it, the way they grew up or the problems they see in society. It is interesting. I do not enjoy all of it but there are those worth the time. In all genre, there are the garbage artists, who make money off the shock, sex, etc.... Look at some of the rock bands, singing of necrophilia, white supremacy, hating everything and such, yuck, but if others like it who am I to judge, right?

Rap has nothin to do with race...its just another form of expression.

I love rap..but west coast rap is the top cuz I am from LA..you can relate to alot of what they say like: The Game, Dr. Dre, The Grouch, Snoop, etc...from whatever side your from music is music and I cant hate on it..it keeps you goin you know.
