I have a friend who joined the military to have his schooling paid for, he says it was worth it, granted he has been to Iraq and he has been shot, but he enjoyed it, got an education, stayed in 10 years and now gets free health care, etc. So if you're up for the challenge I say go for it!

Just depends which one or both you want bad enough.
OR if you want both then try both out, neither could hurt. |

I joined the AF, stuck to my plan and got out. The military isn't for everyone...keep that in mind...I lived in Biloxi, Guam and NM...I received great technical training and now have an excellent career...and still work for the AF...but as a civilian. It's not a decision to be made lightly...you are making a commitment for at least 4 years...It was definitely the right decision for me!

Talk to others who have been in the military. Everything has good and bad aspects. Do you know anyone in the airforce? You work in your own interest so educate yourself.
