For the RIGHT person, who knows? I've had gf's 3-4 hours away before, but it just wasn't practical, So, I try to limit it to around 30-45 minutes. Four hours might be ok to meet somebody and maybe go on a few dates on the weekends, but if things got serious it's inevitable that somebody would eventually have to move. I have no intentions of moving anywhere in the immediate future(or not so immediate future),so I wouldn't expect somebody else to leave thier friends/family/job/etc and relocate for me.

I dated a guy long distance for 3 years. I met him on the internet. I was in GA, he was in MI. Then he moved to CA. I was still in GA. Then he came to AL. I was in GA.
Distance is simply a bunch of numbers(miles, minutes, hours) when it comes to being with the person you love. I can say this from true experience. I hope it works out for you!

I think 1 hour if he is HOT! I did 4 hours and I was dissapointed, but never again i will go that far. I think. DAMN sorry to say this but your Hot!.   . Any way's to get back on the subject, I'd say probably an hour or two away, just depends, but if I could find some body closer then less then that would be great. Thanks  Your very welcome.

Finally!! A voice of reason! Whose reason would that be? Everyone is different. I never felt that I needed to move for three years in my relationship. Obviously it will happen eventually, but why in the world does distance have to be a relationship ender...or blocker? i actually PREFER being with someone long distance. i am a busy busy girl and when i have a guy with me constantly, i cant breathe. when i date someone out of town, it makes me appreciate when he is there. thats my voice of reason. |
