Not really... Men and women alike are sensitive about their weight, but women even more so then men. Plus, telling someone they should loose weight is almost as insulting as calling them a ***** on today's society. You could have returned the same comment "you should cut your hair", or said something, like, about coloring her fingernails, or perhaps an article of clothing.
Although I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding, it probably was taken as a serious insult. |

a good answer i would have to agree but sarcasm seldom gets one laid ..maybe she was a hair stylist and was just trying to start a conversation ..alcohol has a tendency to make us engage our mouth before our brain ..but still kinda funny ..better luck next time ..

What about just thanking her for her opinion and changing the subject?? You know..using your manners?

think before you speak, and try to see it from the other persons point of view. I see that this whole method was completely ignored, but lifes a learning leason, you never stop learning.......

Dont stress about it. Sounds like the girl was sort of a bi**h in the first place. I hate double standards. IMO if she had the nerve to comment about something *you* needed to change then she should have expected it.

This is funny to me!
Yes there is always the double standard. Altho opinions are not always the best pick up lines, I agree with the fact that she could have been a stylist which still doesnt make things right. Im still laughing, this is funny, people are so silly. |
