I have to agree with Tommieg -- I admit, I probably wouldn't have said what you said -- I probably would have said something more along the lines of "If that's your opinion, all the more reason to leave it like it is, then" --
She had no right to slap you, regardless; that takes it to a completely different level. Of course, this sort of thing is one of about a million reasons why I never go to bars....! |

But I still think that someone else's rudeness does not give you the right to be rude. The old two wrongs not making a right thing. Or has that gone out of style? |
