Oh, I don't know, Pixiestyx - It seems like a good answer to me.
Cooly said "how are you going to get your hat back??"; I like the way you thought "getting it back" could mean revenge rather than retrieval.  That's how good riddles work, they make you think round corners. |

one of my friends thinks this riddle is unsolvable because the hat will sink to the bottom of the stream and you cant get it back...i dont know

it never says the hat blows off your head into the water, so do you go with it, and there is no need to get it back since you never really lost it?
