I want to know why people don't like Ron Paul. What is it about his stance on issues that you do not like.

Please no attacks on anyone I want real reasons and a real discusion. I am a Ron Paul supporter and I want to know why people don't like him. I think that it is always good to see things from other peoples point of view.

Ron Paul is running for president of the united states. If you don't know about him youtube him and listen to what he says with an open mind.

I think people don't like him cause they're afraid of him. I mean what kind of "republican" votes against the Iraq War Resolution, doesn't support the Patriot Act, is a proponent of habeas corpus, and doesn't like torture . . . something isn't right

I like a lot of his stances
His Stance on American Independence
His Stance on Border Security and Immigration
His Stance on Taxes and no Taxes on Tips
His Stance on Racism
And of Course His Stance on the 2nd Amendment

I will Vote for Him! drinker

Paul has no chance of winning the nomination; but he certainly has a good chance to enrich the debates.

Knowing he won't win, why would you even waste your time to vote for him? That mentality is futile. I just pray he does not run as an Independent.

Because I don't believe in the other candidates! and when it comes down to the actual presidential vote I will vote for the rep.

Ron Paul is everything I want in the leader of my country.

For one thing he's a neo confederate who accepts donations from white supremists. Cutting regulatory government programs (as if we need less regulation in this country), threatening to pull out of Iraq overnight, I think Ron Paul would take us back to wild west or even worse southern civil war mentality. Thank God he'll never win;^]

Who cares who has donated to him? He isn't a racist. Do we need homeland security? I mean what has it done so far, except let millions of illegal immigrants into the country. Yeah our government does a great job where we are at now! Anyhow, I could go on, but I know what I believe and Im sticking with it!!

I have said this in another topic.

Ron Paul goes far too over the top, halfway through his discussions on issues I have agreed with him, but then he goes on to go to a far extreme and I realize he's a nut.

He believes in an absolute isolationalist policy, and in theory, without the realities of the world, I'm down with that, but in reality it would be a devastating policy. It simply cannot be done in this type of world, both economically, strategically, and protecting our interests and secure at home.

If any of the dems accepted those donations the conservatives would be all over them, it'd be a double standard. And how about those pro sussesnist articles he published that recently came to light, where he referred to black people as "animals"? Do we really need the ATF, IRS, Social Security, FEMA? Yes we do as a matter of fact. Illegal immigrants, you can blame our unfair immigration policies for that one, I fully support those of them who are merely trying to feed their families. As was said in posts prior, human first patriot second;^]

Also, if a politician accepts drug dealers donations is it not considered un ethical? Why should accepting money from these neo nazi f*cks be any differant?;^]

Better to be a bleeding heart than a stubborn neo confederate like Ron Paul. If caring about lives is a crime, I'm guilty as charged;^]
