as amazing as it may sound to everyone..my first car was a 1979 oldsmobile delta..hearse..
you heard right a hearse,,the kind of cars that they drive around the dead with?..my favorite singer, canadian rocker neil yound had one and i always thought that it was cool..so for 1000 dollars at the time..i purchased one..

but i went totally funky with it.

in the back where the coffins were usually stored i modified it with red carpetting and red lighting bulb along the inner walls.installed a mack-shift bar for the guests who would be couragious enough to drive with me..and every halooween night there would be a jigger party at the local cematary,in honor of a friend who had passed on....PETER BURNS WILL LIVE FOREVER!!not that anyone knows who he is of course...just saying..

My first car was so ugly. It wonly cost 200 dollars. The make was a 79. It was a house painted light blue Fairlane with no back seat. The passenger door was dented in. My little brother's car put mine to shame. Funny, for some reason I liked it. I had it for a year. For sure there was no other car like that around.

1970 Plymouth Fury III 4 door. Paid the princely sum of $175 for it in 1986. For such a big car and a relatively tiny motor, it moved alright. Didn't stop so hot, though.
One of my dad's friends ran a muffler shop, and on a slow day he and his guys pieced together a dual exhaust out of spare/scrap parts in the shop, lowering it's 1/4 mile times from 17.90s to 17.40s.
Now my FAVORITE was my '72 Dart...love
