In the last week I have spent so much energy, time and money trying to break out of the blue box and have a face. Let's be real we are only polite to the faceless. We are wary of dropping our guard to something we can't see. Understood. That is why I have tried so hard to show my face. I now have a disc with a photo(jpg). I press upload and zip. Anyone know what I am not doing.

First the photo needs to be in the correct format. The most common ending should be .jpg.

All you need to do it go to My Account, Profile, Edit Photos. You will see an empty box w/ a blue Browse box next to it. Navigate to the pic and hit upload.

You should have the pic after that.

What it sounds like your not doing is downloading your pictures.

I actually saw the file of the pic I wanted where it should be. I pressed Upload and got nada.

It must be of the wrong file type.....change it!

That explains it, I believe nada is some type of computer virus.

We have an obvious newbie on our hands.. take it easy on the poor guy.

First off.. pay attention to where the cursor is (That little blinking line..) that indicated what field of what window you will be typing in. If you don't.. you could actually post something really embarrassing here.. that you intended to say in a private chat ~ Don't ask me how I know that.

Second... The last 3 letters of the name in any picture file should be jpg, gif or bmp to work in this site.

If it is any other format, it will not post, and you will need to convert it. Go here to do that.

Third... Any file you attempt to upload needs to be a small file.

I'm suspecting that this is your problem.

Go to this site and use the jpeg or gif cruncher at a high setting to reduce the file size.

I feel like such a total idiot. I'm guessing the reason I can't post my picture from the disc the drugstore gave me is that I need to download it first? My husband (we're getting a divorce) used to do all of that for me. I could ask him but would rather not. I'm trying hard to learn to do things on my own and not be dependent on him.
