Just a few minutes ago, a telemarketer called me. After that call, I believe I have found the best way ever to get rid of them. He was trying to sell me on a credit card and apparently they're legally obligated to collect your date of birth to confirm that you're over the age of 18. I refused to give it to him on the grounds that if I did, he'd send me a birthday card and I'd feel really uncomfortable receiving a birthday card from a complete stranger.

I find something that always seems to work is after they ask you questions and you anwswer no and keep saying no. When you have said no three times ask them what aprt of NO do you not understand. The N or the O.

You know what I find sad, we have started receiving telemarketing calls... IN SPANISH! What I find the sad part to be is that there are enough residents that only speak Spanish for there to actually be money to be made in telemarketing only to Spanish speaking residents. (I live in Southern Cali btw lol) Seriously though we get probably at least 1 Spanish telemarketing call every day or 2. I'm to the point I just start cussing them out in Spanish.

there was this guy that was in one of the msn groups that i belong to awhile back and he had a dentist appt that he had and they called to verify his appt.. when they called he thank you for calling ms cleo how can i help you... he was just making a joke and they fell for it

I ahve had telemarketers phone work and they have been phoning from India,i live in australia, as we have been told it is cheaper. Would not mind so much if you could understand what they where saying

I respond back by trying to sell them something!!! Like the cell phone guy called and I told him I would purchase the plan if he would buy my old truck cause it had a phone in it and I didn't need two phones.
