Topic: Fiesty Fawn 7.04 to Freespire 2.0.8 | |

Downloading the iso now and found that Freespire started out as Fiesty Fawn. According to what I have read of the documentation Freespire is more of what I am looking for since it is an early edition of Linspire.

I just saved a bunch of money on car insurance by making a free 15 minute call to gieco and cancelling my policy.

Is it cheaper than triple A? And did the cavemen use to work for them?

Running Gutsy Gibbon now. I have the Fawn and the Gibbon both on dvd. Friend burned a copy of the Fawn and Canonical sent me a copy of the Gibbon. K3B burned the iso without a hitch. First time I have burned an iso successfully. Nero wouldn't let me burn the iso when I was on Windows Me. I rebooted and the Freespire logo came up with a GUI blue loader instead of the Ubuntu orange loader. Then I got a bunch of error messages with Freespire not being able to load onto my hard drive.

I was checking out the release notes on Mint and the screen shots. Pretty impressive version of Linux. I got the FreeSpire to work now and I like the options it gives me to have Windows Media Player. Noticed that both Mint and FreeSpire are both built from Ubuntu. I am really getting to like the packaging from Debian. Noticed Ubuntu was built from Debian. I tried the 4.0 release from Debian which took 5 hours to download but didn't boot up. Sticking with the FreeSpire for now. There sure are a lot of releases of Linux.
