The average american isn't represented in the higher-agenda mindset of the government. They represent the power base, wealth-wise, policy-wise, law-wise. They don't care about polls, they don't care about the common man, and they never will. The common man can't afford their bribes, and has no influence among their friends. They toss us a bone every once in awhile, but by and large we're nothing more than tickets they can cash in on. I have to believe I have some influence at some point if just by my vote. Otherwise I may as well leave this wonderful country. But the day babyshrub got up in front of everyone and said something along the lines of "I don't care if you like what I do, I am going to do what I do", I became very offended for a public official who we pay to say that. He knew from letters written and articles written, etc..... that many of us did not believe in going to Iraq but he cared not. |

we're getting further and further off topic, but whatever. at least we can all agree on something, our representive republic is anything but.
you know, i've spoken to people who respect bush for his ability to ignore and smirk in the face of the public and do what he wants. they see strength in that, not the reality that it is. |

MS13, being the topic at hand, is bad news. Even worse - if what I read posted earlier in this forum is true, and MS13 is meeting with Al-quaida, this INFURIATES me. I want truth, I want substance to this claim, so I have a reason to start a public campaign against them. |
