Do you like American Idol or you hate it.

I like it sometimes and hate it other times.

HATE IT WITH A PASSION. I'd love to beat Simon with a bad without any mercy whatsoever.

I just started watching American Idol last year and I didn't miss an episode so I guess I like it . I will be watching when it starts again on January 15th .

i enjoy the show......

the only good part is in the beginning when the really bad singers try out. Its funny to watch. Otherwise like beaporwoll said i hate it. Only a few of those who won have made an impression in the music industry. Kelly Clarkson is one, Carrie Underwood is probably the most successfull out of all of them, and Daughtry he didnt even win, but hes out there with a cd.

Lots of american idol non-winners have been successful ...... Kelli Pickler , Bucky Covington , Chris Daughtry , Blake Lewis , Jennifer Hudson , Clay Aiken , Katherine McPhee ..... + more that I can't think of .

The show is great even some of those who don't get past the initial try outs have gotten more than 15minutes of fame .

All the winners have made an impact and become succesful in their own niche .... with the exception of maybe Taylor Hicks .

i think simond is great,,,,all he is doing is being honest,,,,,why don't u try to set there an listen to terrible singers day in an out,,if u can't handle people being honest,,,,,,,don't wear ur feelings on a egg shell

Really enjoy the show, get a kick out of some of the people who audition. Some of them become famous on commercials because they were so bad.

Did some guy named William Ho or Hung or something go on to do commercials or even cameos in movies start out flopping in an audition on the show?? I didn't see that season but my daughter told me about him.

I saw the one with Carrie Underwood, knew she would win. A couple of friends liked Bo Bice better, but haven't seen him at all out there. Lots of people got a jumpstart from the show though.

Actually Bo Bice's first single debuted at #1 and went GOLD . His first album #4 on the charts .
I think he is recording a second album that should be out this year .

Yes he had long hair .... my Mom had the hots for him . I didn't think he was that hot . Kinda looked like Travis Tritt or something .

Has anyone seen clay lately?Boyfriend looks like ****.Personally I get bored with the whole thing till the finals because Ryan Seacrest is so in love with himself .Paula Abdul is always fun as a judge cause she is dumber than a stump and simon is as honest as the day is long.More celebrities should have a Simon figure in their lives,we would have a lot less mediocrity in the biz thats for sure.
