“Good Ole Days”



Give me something that rocks my soul.
Like ole rock and roll.
Give me the music from the sixties.
Or even through the eighties.
And I’ll show you a time that music rocked.
It was an era that was marked.
When bands enjoyed what they played.
Did not matter what they got get paid.
We listened to Stair Way to Heaven by Led Zeppelin.
And then came along Mercedes Benz by Janis Joplin.
Yeah those were the good ole days.
Even though most seemed to have lived in a haze.
It was the music of the past.
Regardless that music will always last.
The tunes we heard from Bob Seager.
We were always eager.
As we listen to That Old Time Rock N Roll.
The music would touch you right down to your soul.
Yeah those were the good ole days.
As I sit back and remember those were the ways.
I remember the long hair and hippies and peace signs.
Makes you wonder who came up with those designs.
Yep those were the good ole days for sure.
For sure it was an adventure.

Good Ole Rock N Roll will never die!!!...Love it girl!!

Yes, music has always been a big part of my life. i couldn't imagine life without it. My friend LHB on here sent me a subscription to a magazine for Christmas, That's a great gift, the gift of music is truly a lifelong and endearing one!

I am also blessed in having the opportunity to be friends with the op here, and i treasure that friendship!
