all the ones that 'clinically proven' are always closely followed later in that same sentence with 'when combined with diet and excersize'.

that pretty much tells me all it is, is a metabolism boost of some kind like suger or caffine or somehting else that makes you a tad more hyper and maybe burn off another calorie or 2 WHILE YOU EXCERSIZE.

although there is a certain pill i did see advertised once that physically dissolve the fat itself with no other help. something about turning the fat back into water to be excreted back out of the body. it did work for a little bit but then they pulled it cuz they found out if you took too much of it, it started dissolving all the other cells in your body and people started having heart failure and brain damage..........

oooppss guess we didn't look into the long term effects far enough....

there are no pills that increase metablosim.. EGCG which can be found in green tea can support the same as B12 shots.

only ways to increase meatabloism is cardio, and the 5-6 meals i spoke on earlier.

so Fed up media is brainwashing people. go to GNC and see if anything is FDA approved it's not.. it's just a way for someone to gain money. and if you look at alot of fat burners, the first ingredinet you will see is green tea complex.. crazy huh?

I lost alot of weight last year by giving up Soda pop, making small diet changed (no eating after 8pm or within 4 hrs of going to bed, switching from 2% milk to non fat, ect), Getting a SET sleeping schedule and running in the morning.

My only downfall from that was doing Ren fairs in the summer threw off my schedule which has made it hard to get back on track.

I would LOVE to have somoene to go running with (or at least call my lazy ass to tell me to go running in the morning) and a puppy to run with ohwell

you can do a low carb diet but you will experince high cholest. and possibly an increase in body fat.. your choice too make..

Not necessarily true my dear. I'm diabetic, so I have to watch my carbs very carefully...that's how I determine how much insulin I take. The problem is that people replace the carbs with high fat protiens...and high fat (even with low carbs) spells trouble. I lost 245lbs. in 2 years and have kept it off for the past 5 years. My cholesterol is great...my triglycerides are wonderful. I limit my carbs to no more than 30 grams per meal (that's the equivelent of 2 slices of bread) and I eat only lean, lower-fat protiens (turkey breast, chicken breast, lean pork occasionally, low fat cottage cheese, eggs). I eat a lot (A LOT) of raw veggies and limit my fruit intake. I drink ONLY calorie free beverages...and NO artificial sweeteners. I used to live to eat, now I eat to live.

I love that they have a pill out now that says you can eat whatever you want to and still lose weight. Yeah, ok. Right. Sign me up.

Its called "Viagra" but only works with men. Even then its hit and miss depending on the company.

hearing someone tell you that it's either lose weight or lose your life is a great motivator...but thank you.

anything in life is possible, and the harder it is the greater the reward you will reap. Losing weight is no harder than finding a reason to get out of bed each morning...you just have to put your mind into it...it's more mind than mouth...

low carb i mean as in atkins diet. you yourself are a walking time bomb if you follow a diet of source

i have to lower my carbs for contest prep. i know what is safe and what isnt. when i hear people droppin carbs to 15 grams a day their cholest is def gonna be retared. no ifs about that.

people seem to take in impact carbs over complex which increases a change in cholestorl.

but amazing none the less. congrats on the weight loss. do you take any omega 3?
