You use French cut green beans; one can - mushroom soup - one can; dried crunchy onions and Bacos. Mixed it with a blender and heat it up. It is excellent.

I never used a blender on this, just stirred it in a casserole dish. You can stir in most of the canned French Fried Onion Rings and then scatter the rest on the top if you like for a topping. Bake in a 350 oven for maybe 30 minutes, or microwave until hot.

I have never tried it with Bacos, but I have added a can of mushrooms to mine.

Good recipe though Roy. Thanks for sharing.

Bacos are artifically flavored bacon bits.

Yeah, I asked another lady last night who made the dish and she just stirred it, too. The one that gave the recipe was in a hurry to get to the hospital. Found out later that she was just constipated and didn't have gall stones. The nurse told me she used the French Fried Onion rings because she doesn't like onions but when they are fried she can't taste the onions. Something to do with the textures of onions, I guess. I can't really argue about texture because I can't eat cottage cheese because of the texture but yogurt doesn't bother me. I like yogurt.

I only make this during the holidays, but don't use the bacon bits and sub the french cut beans for frozen baby green beans. It isn't a holiday dinner without it.

Oh yeah, I don't use a blender either.

Me too, mainly Thanksgiving and no bacon bits. I love those fried onions.
