So according to you , the 911 terrorists could have had a child while they were here planning their attack on America and that child would have been a citizen. If you come here unannounced by sneaking in, you are not subject to this country. In my mind , ‘subject to’‘means more than just being on American soil.it means obeying the law and gainful employment and a intent to become a U.S. citizen..
The 9/11 conspirators were in the US on visas approved by the government, and yes, according to the 14th Amendment, if they had babies in the US, those babies would be entitled to US Citizenship. That's in the Constitution. And why should a baby be responsible for crimes committed by its parents? |
