Had they existed, logically no, being that the belly button is a remnant of the umbilical cord. Perhaps we should try cloning someone and see if they get one?

I didn't think of that.... well did he have a innie or a outtie?

Now thats a tougher question. I would hope he had an innie. Seeing that he should have been perfect in every way and I find the innie the perfection of belly buttons. (sorry for those who have an outtie)

Well, Jesus would have. He was born of woman.
To tell you the truth; I have also wondered that. I have no clue as to why it even entered my mind?

But it stands to reason that they did not. They were created in adult form. Not born with the motherly need for nourishment.

But, wouldn't it be cool if we could track that or have family history of them being an anomaly? It being passed down generation after generation to testify to the miracles of God?

Kat

If they did have belly buttons; then that would be a lie on the God issue.

Did you know that the catholic church made the artists of a long time ago change pics of Adam and Eve to not have them? They covered them with foliage and the such. The painting on the Sistine chapels ceiling by Michelangelo depicts a naval on Adam. It caused an uproar.

Funny this thread came up just now.

Just tonight I was wondering why Jesus was born?

If God created Adam from dust, why didn’t he create Jesus the same way?

Why was it necessary to have Jesus born of an woman?

Seems odd to me.

I also wonder why it was necessary to use a rib from Adam to create Eve?

If God could create Adam from dust why not create Eve from dust too?

Seems that starting with a rib wouldn’t be all that much of a head start unless God is a scientist and needed the DNA to clone Eve????

Sounds too much like Sci-fi too me.

As far as the belly buttons are concerned. If they didn’t have belly buttons wouldn’t’ their tummies fall open?
