Maybe it's just me, I hope anyway but, I don't think so. I don't really know how women first see men, but I do think for men, it's physical attraction. Now for profile photos. Know that I have 12 photos on my profile. The maximum. I want ladies to see what I look like. Now ladies, just how many photos you have on your profile. Is it enough to attract the one you want. Least be truthful and not catfish. Just one face picture usually isn't enough. Then I suspect other reasons too. It's just one reason that online dating doesn't work too well. The other reason is "recurring Billing". I ain't doing it...

A picture paints a 1000 words. I agree, the more profile photo's the better, and you can include those from your interests, sports, hobbies, travels, they all provides more information about you.

Well not all women will put up a lot of photos as I believe that. A couples photos is enough...like it has been said guys are either attracted to your look or they are not....but for women yes the attention has that personality that has a big effect on women....well in my eyes attraction yes but personality has to be there..
