wanting children or not wanting them I believe is a choice. And if someone doesn't want to birth kids that decision must be respected. Most people think it's selfish but no everyone has got a reason for a decision. Personally I love kids and have practically raised my niece and also taken care of kids of friends and relatives but still don't want to give birth so it's pretty much annoying when a man thinks he wants to change my decision or that I'm cruel.

I decided a long time ago to not have children. It was the right decision for me.

I got a vasectomy when I was 25. It took a lot of effort to get it done, and some doctors took an attitude with me ("You're not married"; "You're too young"; "You don't have children"--duh, that was the whole point--, "You might regret it later"). Later in life, my second wife wanted a baby--I told her she could get artificially inseminated, which she did, had a baby which was legally mine, and I still have my vasectomy to this day. It was the best life decision I ever made--I never wanted kids.
