Gem told me a couple weeks ago that some people find my vocabulary intimidating. That seems strange to me -- it's just words. I would hope that I never come across that way here....

Hmmmm .. well I don't know you but then I am not intimidated easily. In fact I'd say pretty much never.

I do get told the same thing. Honestly, I think confidence & having your sh*t together can be very intimidating to others. If you think you've got it bad, try being a woman who knows who she is, where she's going, and what she wants.

Trust me. It's a high wall most men don't wanna (or more accurately stated 'CAN'T' climb. LMAO

I have to relate with this as well. Actually one of the reasons I started dating on line was because men were hesitant to approach me on the street/public situations.

I was told by a friend I have an 'air' an 'aura' of such that men find unapproachable. Funny cause I am told constantly how much fun I am to be around, but I don't hit on men and do carry myself with self-assured ease. Guess it just wigs em out.

This friend gave me great advise I'll pass on to you. He said it's as if I have an invisible wall around me but that I shouldn't want to be with anyone who can't/won't take it down.

People are intimidated by good looks, the amount of money someone has, their brains........hmmmmm what else could we be intimidated about???
