I have no idea what or where the "DMV" is. Have seen that before...My guess is that he is referring to the Delaware-Maryland-Virginia area on the U.S. eastcoast...

Maybe he means department of motor vehicles. that was my first thought too. But no one I know is "from" there. Unless he meant "works" there????

Oh, I've found out. He is referring to: District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

Not from there originally but have been here 40 years. Nice if you like traffic, idiot drivers from all over the country (military and government brings in a lot of different people), bugs, heat, humidity, mold, mildew, etc. Depending on where you live it is not overly expensive. Excellent history and culture also a lot of backwards people still living in the 1800's i.e. racist
