It's crazy
how midnight sounds
when the air is as warm
as the city's heartbeat
to and fro
noises
travel through the air
as if night
was simply
another part of a perfect day

It's crazy
how
in the midst of the everyone
everywhere
a quiet moment
speaks volumes
one on one
conversations
while everything moves at the speed
of a different kind of freedom

There's nothing like
the rhythm
the feeling
of place and time
sleep has forgotten
because there's always something
to do
some place to be
when life presents
to you
a perfect day
