The Forever Now

Our hearts
beat
like the
rise
and
fall
of the long day's sun
as love
interrupts everything unnecessary
by
creating
moments that are necessary

At times
there may be this
cautionary tale
of what if
lingering
in the background
like the dark
was tempting the forever now
with clouds
of trials and tribulations

Yet
without a word spoken
time
faith
and friendship
quietly
invites the rain
knowing that
the flower's thirst
must be quenched
if beauty
is to grow

One does Not Realize the Value of what You Have,
Until it Becomes a Memory.

Poem to My First Wife :

Everytime I See Your Face,
it Reminds Me of the Love We Use to Share.

I Want You Here to Have and Hold,
as the Years Go By and We Grow Old and Grey.

But All I have is a Photograph,
and I Realize You're Not Coming Back Anymore.

I Can't get Use to Living Here,
While My Heart is Broke, My Tears, I Cry For You.

Long may you Dwell

Long may you dwell
in that still-ness of space
in that still-ness of space
where all else fall;s away.
where all that is there.
is a moment in time,
yes,
long may you dwell
in that still-ness of space
