I can't believe you people actually got the 22 and up topic pulled. This thread was obviously a joke and someone had to be a baby about it. What about that thread thats up there thats 18-30. Maybe they should pull that too. What about any sports thread thats for people that are fans of a certain team. I bet all the people that aren't fans of that team feel pretty left out.

There is only one woman who is talking to me right now because she is the only one who cares and can i mention she is over eighteen meaning she is over 21 which is good becuase it proves my point i have all these dumb losers girls looking at my profile who are eighteen and ninteen and not saying hi or whats up at all and my point is this is how also the majority of ladies who are this age range act with older guys and they say you are old enough to be my uncle and i tell you i have no lady i know who is eighteen who thinks i am there uncle but anyhow i do not associate with that young because it is a waste of time so when i put up that topic is because to show them there a waste of time and wasting alot of guys times as well.

Best thing to do is ignore it really. By posting and posting pro's and cons we just fan the flames and people start getting offended. Turn the other cheek. There are bigger issues to be offended about. The same goes for confidentman. He can just ignore the petty things that bother him and put his energies to more positive things instead. Just my 2cents

I know its over but I wanted to put my voice out there. I am highly opinionated person.. it runs in my family as does debating. It just kind of reminded me about whats going on in america and how everyone is always getting offended where it may not be necessary. Well, you can have all the opinions you want, and you can express them all you want, but the admins have established certain rules, and the moderators are going to try to enforce those rules.

There are ways to say what you want to say, without being rude or denigrating to people. We've got posters here who post civilly day after day.

The problem here, as I see it, was your "get the hell out" comment for anyone under 22. You can't do that. You can't make a thread and say "Women only," or "Men only," or "Non-smoking middle-aged Jewish truck drivers only." You can say "Women, I would like your input," knowing full well that some men are going to reply -- and are perfectly welcome to reply, because the whole point is we don't want exclusionary cliquish subgroups to develop and start a civil war or something. It's ONE site, everybody is welcome to post or reply anywhere.

Looks to me like if you had said "I would like to get opinions from women, 22 and older," nobody would have had too much of an issue. Because someone 19 might feel OK about replying anyway. But "get the hell out" is not very conducive to a full and open discussion of the topic.
