I'm maybe little old fashionied about some horrors but think for first place should be Braindead. I've like black houmor there as well director is Peter Jackson... the same director who create Lord of the Rings... so probably from there he is inspired. Very epic is Evil dead. Not accident have so many movies about this... Evil dead, Evil dead 2, Army of darknes and even tv series "Ash vs Evil Dead".

(The Conjuring), and (Hereditary) are horror masterpieces. I consider myself a person with a high threshold when it comes to horror horror movies, yet these two kept an electrical current running between my shoulders while i was watching

Conjuring was good. Do you ever watch or listen to the real recordings of Ed and Lorain Warren?

For the LIFE of me, I don't know why my mom let us watch the mini series of IT when we were kids ... It's not the "best" but it was creepy!

The "Biden/Harris Horror Show" has been pretty frightening these last 3 years.
