The Crystal Heart

Let me tell you of a tale
From a long time ago,
The tale of the crystal heart
That formed in the new fallen snow.
It formed over night
Where two lovers met,
On their last day of love
No will ever forget.
They kept their love a secret
From those that kept them apart,
Their love knew no bounds
It was deep within their heart.
They would sneak away at times
To their secret hide-a-away,
Where they felt their love
As it grew every day.
No one knew of their meetings
Or even suspected such,
They kept it to themselves
The love they felt so much.
Now the tale must be told
About the crystal heart,
Of the love between these two
That could never drift apart.
They met for the last time
On a cold wintry night,
A blizzard of a storm
It was a chilling sight.
They huddled close together
So they could stay warm,
It was chilling to the bone
They couldn't keep from harm.
They embraced each other
With one last shivering kiss,
They froze together in time
In that one moment of bliss.
The storm was letting up
As the snow gently falls down,
When the townspeople were searching
Looking all around.
They came upon the two lovers
Statues frozen in ice,
No one knew of their love
Or their sacrifice.
But looks of awe befell
Upon the parents' face,
When they saw what had formed
And slowly took place.
A crystal heart had formed
Where the two had embraced,
Sealing their love forever
Where their fate had been graced.

OMG another masterpiece, I see a story forming around this,,, you are going to do it...I feel it in my bones this was very good honey as always.
