ok this is like the 2 millionth post about guys being pigs to which i've replied and probably made myself hated by many for stating my opinions on these man bashing posts. so i won't even bother to dignify this one with a response.

No, they aren't all pigs, but it's always best to be on the picky side. For instance, it's not wise to get involved with a control freak, and there are lots of different types of them. Plus, alcoholics and drug users are not only mean, but dangerous as well. So, it's better to be careful and turn loose of a jerk, than to suffer with a squashed heart (or worse) later on.

frankly i've got to say that postts like this make me sick. obviously not all men are alike and to generalize all of us becuase you had some bad luck is just stupid.

i'm sure you love it when men come on here and say things like "all women are b1tches, gold diggers, sluts, skanks" or whatever else they may call you. makes you feel good don't it?
does the same thing for me, if this is really how women feel maybe i'm glad i don't date and should just stay single the rest of my life.

You said you arent going to respond to this post to acknowledge it, and yet you plan on forming a 20 page response.
It isnt good to stereotype, but certain groups of people do tend to fall into some similar patterns. Be it as a result of nature or nuture. Generalizing is not a fair practice, but it is hard to avoid if one has to go by one's own experiences.
For the original poster, perhaps the men she has dated have all been pigs. Perhaps they have not been raised right and are giving in to animalistic tendencies.
There are exceptions to the rule, but they are exceptions. I have found a lot more assholes than good guys. So for me its not a stereotype either.

The same thing can be true of women.
Heck people in general.
Tell me humanity isnt more selfish, apathetic,etc than it used to be and i'll show you my skeptical face.
