I'd like to understand and not just argue about Animals having rights. Do they protest or wanna change the way we cook them

There is an argument that says you only have the rights you are willing to fight for. All the treaties, constitutions, and laws supposedly guaranteeing human rights are worthless if you, as an individual, so not support and insist on them. awe need look no further than the massive example in 'free' countries around the world in the way our rights were trampled in the Covid panicdemic.

By those standards, few animals insist on whatever rights people claim are theirs. So they lose them.

Another philosophy says that we can't defend our rights ourselves but this can only be done for us by others. Our ultimate desire to survive means that we will forego our rights in favour of life.

By that line of thought, animals have whatever rights governments can be persuaded to give them.

"Animal rights" philosophy is based on the idea that animals should not be used by people for any reason, and that animal rights should protect their interests the way human rights protect people.

"Animal welfare", on the other hand, is a set of practices designed to govern the treatment of animals who are being dominated by humans, whether for food, research, or entertainment.

In the US & UK "Animal Welfare" is in place but the Activist want instead "Animal Rights" where basically they want Animal's to have the same Rights as Humans.. Which will never happen in the USA.. Due to too many of us will never give up the right to eat meat~~whoa noway

I wouldn't be surprised if they do! These nutty activists has already done the impossible with companies that are going woke. It's complacency like that comment "will never happen" that I think that shlt has already flown. And if they get the companies - I can totally see products that we don't want being pushed, because the market dickheads will make real meat so expensive where the poor can no longer afford it. Unless you hunt, or have a farm it is foreseeable that this kinda crap is exactly the kinda shlt they need to move in that direction. These unhinged activists are few, but they are noisy as hell.

It doesn't surprise me, that these nutjobs are pushing for animal "rights" As far as I'm concerned - they have no rights. God gave us dominion over them. That is our right.

Animal welfare is justifiable. There are many cruel azzholes out there that mistreat animals, and I feel as stewards of the earth, and all what's in it - we must protect them.

Best one so far. honestly haven't had the thought to know there are differences between Animal right and Welfare. welfare should keep up their good work and yeah I don't really think animals have any kinda right

The 2nd amendment, gives us the right to
keep and arm bears.

I gave a Glock to Yogi and BooBoo just today.
They've already done a drive by.

Reports said they shouted "F.U., Ranger Smith!"

Poor, poor Ranger Smith. R.I.P. flowerforyou
